There’s a tiny animation error in this episode where it says 9/15 instead of 10/15. I guess it just goes to show you that BN Pictures locks their animators up for longer than they should. I’m looking forward to the Halloween episode next week, let’s see how it compares to the S3 one.

Hey, just an observation, not a criticism. But why is it that when Subaru refers to Yume, you translate it as “Tomato,” when he’s actually calling her “Boiled Octopus?” :/
They decided to use Tomato instead of boiled octopus because a tomato is more recognizable to western audiences than boiled octopus. And they’ve kept it consistent, like in the episode where they are on M4s show he gives different nick names instead of” yubetako” sp? like Takoyaki ect and they used different tomato based dishes.
It’s been explained before, but they use’ tomato’ because ‘boiled octopus’ isn’t an expression in English. Thus, ‘tomato’ is used instead.
