Were you able to protect this smile?
An unexpectedly emotional episode for not just Elza, but anyone feeling lost. What is… “perfection”? Also, extremely well timed with the annual Orionid meteor shower.
She reminds me of Fuwari here. Or maybe Maria
You claim to be experts, Aikatsu, and yet you can’t even get a single scientific name of a flower correct? The Humilis Alba Coerulea Ocula should actually end in Oculata. How can I ever trust anything I learn from you again?
Also, this episode’s keikaku levels were off the charts.
Fairies: Actual size
There’s something really special about the first episode of a new half-season, not to mention something special about the ridiculous workload it entails to do. I suppose you could say this episode marked a new start line, and made sure the viewers knew it. If you want to see that for sure, I’d suggest comparing this episode to any from the very beginning of Stars, particularly the opening. Aria is a lovely girl, although it would be difficult to expect otherwise from her name. I hope you do enjoy this episode with a smile, just as I did (particularly the first few seconds of the new OP for me).
P.S. Today/tomorrow, October 8th, marks the actual 5th anniversary of Aikatsu. Thank you for these five years!
This is a high-level metaphor for Koharu having dominance over Mahiru
And here’s our yearly tradition, the off time at someone’s house to finish off the first half and lead into the new character of the second half. In tradition there is both comfort as well as flexibility to make something unique, and they’ve nailed it.
I wonder which is the father and which is the mother
Gonna be honest, I was kind of worried about the episode during the first half, but the second half and performance blew those clouds away. Impossible rainbow aside (the sun needs to be behind you to see a rainbow), I’m going to borrow the words of a fan on Kirakiratter and say you must absolutely watch the CG this episode. The depth of expression, the little touches put into the audience, and even the song itself reminding me of Melody of the Heart blew me away. What an absolute pleasure it was.
I also love forehead idols
What a treat this episode is for those with a good memory of Aikatsu Stars. I try to keep my writer obsession to myself, but for his third episode of Aikatsu at all, Nomura Yuuichi has shown that he’s done his research, and absolutely loves the show. There’s even the introduction of a certain new character, but most importantly, the Bridge to Stars: STARDOM, is reframed almost literally. What beautiful moments this episode brought. Do enjoy. Oh, and this was the 250th episode of Aikatsu overall.
Such a cute logo
Whoa, I did it! Yes, I subbed our first one of these special episodes, and from the very same room at home that I rarely return to where I ignored the very first “special” episode before 12 of the original series on Christmas. This is almost entirely live action, with interviews and just general chatting between the voice actresses of Ichigo, Akari, Yume, and a few other special guests. It’s not exactly necessary to watch, but I certainly enjoyed it. Also be warned that this is a bit below our usual quality, as I only did one pass on it and there’s no editing or typesetting. Plus, doing real people talking off-script is super hard compared to anime. It’s still fine to watch though, so enjoy if you’d like. It’s pretty inspirational and moving at parts.
Ignore the sheep, Koharu has the coolest hairstyles. And her kao is ii
It’s an emotional rollercoaster through unexpected twists and turns, passing by everything you know and love, and even things you may not have seen coming. I’m glad I didn’t have to drop the show. Thanks, Elza.
